Jennifer Butler

Jennifer Butler is a counselling psychologist with over 20 years of experience in helping individuals overcome various challenges and achieve their goals. She has extensive experience in working with clients who have experienced trauma and complex attachment issues, as well as developmental challenges and neurodiversity such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in children, adolescents, and adults. She uses a holistic and integrative approach that considers the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of each client. She is skilled in applying various modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and positive psychology approaches. 

Jennifer believes that every person has the potential to grow and change, and that therapy is a collaborative process that empowers clients to discover their strengths and resources. She tailors her approach to each client’s unique needs and preferences, using evidence-based techniques and strategies. She is committed to  helping clients cope with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, life transitions, and self-esteem.
