She has also worked with the corporate sector supporting professionals to successfully navigate today’s rapidly changing and demanding environment.
Her aim is to empower individuals to achieve meaningful and sustainable change in their lives and she is particularly passionate about cultivating strong connections and relationships with her clients.
Wendy is experienced in the following treatment options:
- Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) which helps clients reprocess traumatic memories in a safe and structured manner, often experiencing a reduction in emotional distress and symptoms related to past traumas.
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) which places a focus on valued living – knowing what motivates our purpose in daily life and work. This model also highlights the importance of self-acceptance and building on strengths.
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) helps clients identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviours that contribute to their distress.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) helps clients explore and integrate different parts of their personality, fostering inner harmony and healing. By understanding and engaging with these internal parts, clients develop greater self-awareness and resilience to navigate life’s challenges effectively.
